Thread Garden

If you received my email last night, you'll know I came to a crossroads when finalizing this design.

Finish the blog post as the final step.... OR... re-digitize based on a flash of inspiration?!

I chose to re-digitize. I feel like I lost a day, but ultimately, I'm glad I did. This is a better design than my "first draft" both aesthetically and technically.

My first "existential" crisis, before the whole re-digitizing thing: Do I name this Thread Garden or THREADED Garden? 😬

Even though we do most everything under the banner of Longarm League nowadays, our business name and LLC is Threaded Quilting Studio.

After some back and forth, we thought Thread Garden flowed a bit better than Threaded Garden.

Right, guys?

You know what? I'm still not sure if it was the right call, but it's done now.

Moving forward...

Longarm League members AND our Digital Panto Club members got this delivered to their inboxes today, and it's also listed for sale in our shop now.

I've written a blog post about Thread Garden (the final version, wink) that includes more info, tips, and lots of photos. There's a video of the stitch-out at the very top of that post, too. 

A very special thanks to those of you who have signed up for the Digital Panto Club, or "The Club" or DPC (not sure if we're going there just yet 😂), we've been blown away by the response!

If you haven't heard yet, we'll be releasing one new digital pantograph design EVERY WEDNESDAY for the month of February. It just so happens that we'll be traveling a lot which is throwing our normal League schedule out the window. To make up for it, we'll be sending a weekly design instead of our normal monthly one for next month only.

This means Digital Panto Club members will be getting a steal! It'd be one heck of a good time to sign up before February.

Rookie Season

We are starting our next Rookie Season class on Tuesday! 

We started inviting our new students into our private community group yesterday.

Each start is so exciting! I absolutely love meeting the new students we're lucky enough to serve.

I'm pre-panicking—just a smidge, though—about having a big gap between the classes this year. After next week, we won't have another class starting until May. That's making me feel anxious, although I know it's the right call.

Going deeper but with fewer cohorts. It'll all be okay. 💆‍♀️
