Join us for an all-inclusive stay at Heartland Retreat Center in Kansas City, MO, this fall for our second annual Longarm League member retreat!

Jess dreamed about having a "slumber party" Longarm League retreat for years. Last fall, we held our first retreat and had a blast. We're so excited to be bringing back this event for our members and students AND we're adding an extra day! This will be a relaxed time to get away and work on your own projects - no formalized instruction or classes will be offered.

The retreat price includes:

âś… hotel-style lodging

âś… retreat space (one huge work room + a secondary room with design wall space + additional iron and cutting stations)

✅ all meals from Wednesday dinner to Sunday breakfast (special diets / allergies accommodated).

You will be responsible for your travel plans and the cost of getting there.

Keep reading below for all the details!

Registrations will be first come, first served, and are only available to current Longarm League members and students during the initial registration period. This is a gender-inclusive event. We want all members to feel welcome to attend, so please let us know if we can help in making room accommodations.

Payment is due at the time of signup, and no refunds will be available. However, you may transfer your reservation to someone else if you need to cancel.

  • You will want to bring your own machine, accessories, and all other supplies you’ll need for your project.
    • Double and triple check that you have your foot control and power cord 🙂

  • Flying in? It’s very doable to fly with a sewing machine. Check out some of these resources for specific tips:
  • We are working on having some machines available for those that are unable to bring their own machine.
    • We will include a spot on the registration form to indicate if you are either in need of a machine to use or have an extra machine you can bring.
  • When planning your projects, we recommend planning to bring smaller projects that do not require an extra large sewing space, but of course you can use your own judgment. 🙂
