Each month in the Longarm League, we hold a coaching call with one of our members to talk about their business. This month I sat down with Jackie Lane of By the Block Quilting to talk all things marketing. During the coaching call, we talked about Jackie's longer-term goal of getting a healthy queue of mail-in clients and what she could start doing now on in order to reach that point in her business. 'Putting yourself out there' is often difficult for our members in general and a major recurring theme of coaching calls. We talked about taking the posture of being helpful and providing value online and how that can help break through some of our personal reservations when showing up online or locally.
Thanks to my frequent Amy Porterfield podcast listening, the phrase "do something different" kept popping up in my head when I was talking to Jackie, and that became her pep talk and marching orders at the end of our call. Basically, it means that if any of us want new results in our business, we need to be willing to DSD to make that happen. Makes sense, right? What will that something different be for you? Perhaps you intuitively know what to try next. It's time to go for it!
If you'd like to watch the coaching call with Jackie or are interested in being a guest, we'd love to have you join us! You can learn more about membership here.
Thanks so much for talking with us this month Jackie!
