Tell us a little about your business and the services you provide at The Quilted Peony.
I provide computerized E2E longarm quilting services, both edge-to-edge and custom, as well as binding services.
Do you have any advice for someone just starting out with their business?
Be patient with yourself. Have realistic expectations, and never stop learning and studying. Learn your machine inside and out. Attend physical classes put on by the company that sold your machine. Ask questions. Ask for help. Mostly, don't give up.
How did you get started longarm quilting?
My husband purchased my longarm for me as an anniversary gift. .
Could you tell us about a business "win" you've had?
My coaching call with the Longarm League.

What quilting designs have you been loving lately?
I don't really have a favorite. I like to choose designs that complement the quilt top.
What is your favorite notion for longarm quilting?
My snips.
What's your favorite part of making a quilt?
Watching the magic happen when longarming a design.
Favorite snack while sewing?
Homemade Chex mix.
What other hobbies do you enjoy aside from quilting?
Reading, embroidery, gardening, cooking, journaling and snuggling with my fur babies.
